Yes!! sort of...
We have four hills in Regina, Douglas Park, Mt Pleasant, the landfill and the loading dock at Wascana Rehab. Unfortunately, three of them are not paved and the loading dock is only 5 metres wide and 7 long so not that much use really. And the landfill is kinda dangerous and smells.
However we do have the lovely town of Lumsden just a hop, skip and a jump away and they have lots of hills. So we're going there on Monday. We'll meet at Lumsden High School at 6:15, split up into our groups and go have some fun!
The address of the school is 300 Broad St, Lumsden.
To get there, just get on Highway 11 to Saskatoon and come off at the bottom of the hill, signposted Lumsden/ Craven. Turn left and follow the road into town. Many of you have been there before so if you know where to go, park your car on a side street and look out for Spokies wandering around looking lost!
Please do not be nervous about coming out, we realize that some of you will be unsure of your climbing/descending abilities but we will adapt to ensure that you have a good time while learning!
Bear in mind that the Ring road bridge over Vic is being worked on, again, so there may be delays if you are coming from the south.
See you Monday,
I tend to be the noisy one, Theresa and the Ride Leaders are the real story.
