Please join Theresa, Freddy and I at the Sask Science Centre on Monday the 25th at 6:30pm for our End of Season celebration! It's been a a wonderful summer riding with you and we know that many friendships have been made, legs buffed and bikes bought!!
Last year Spoke n'Hot helped to support the production of a movie profiling women in pro cycling. Apparently we gave enough that we get a credit somewhere in the movie! Half the road was released in April of this year and I recently received my copy.A movie is always better when it's watched with friends so we want you to join us at the Science Centre, 2901 Powerhouse Dr, in the park, at 6:30pm on Monday. We'll have a glass of wine (or soft drinks if you prefer), grab some popcorn and celebrate the season. There may be door prizes, I may shave my legs, the possibilities are endless!!
See you there,
Theresa, Freddy and me!
It looks like it will be a wonderful evening for our last official Spoke summer ride. We'll meet at Lowe's at 6pm and head west by 6:30
Sunset is 8:13 so we need to be on the road quickly and back by 7:45. Bring your blinky lights!
Next Monday, the 25th August will be our end of season celebration. I have a few details to finalize yet so keep the evening free and I'll send out an update later this week,
Well tomorrow we are going to find out!
Yep. It's the Time Trial so get a good night's sleep, eat healthy tomorrow and prepare to set Hwy 734 on fire!!!
Meet at 6:15 and start making our way up to the Brandt house as soon as possible. It's getting dark earlier now so bring your blinky light for the ride home!
Aero bikes are allowed, tires pumped up and the adrenaline flowing. It's going to be epic....:)
Look's like a nice morning so let's make the most of it. See you there!
Sorry about the late email. It's been two days of go hard here at the house. Theresa and I put eight yards of crusher dust in to our back yard yesterday and we paid for it this morning! The most we could manage this morning was a walk around the neighbourhood seeing how everyone else is making out with their landscaping. This afternoon Theresa left me and the kitties to guard the house as she went up with her sister to see Bruno Mars in Saskatoon. I did important stuff such as going to Princess Auto, washing my bikes, going for a test ride etc..in other words, according to Theresa, "just pissing around". AND it's pizza and beer for supper, ( it's good to be the king!)
Which nicely brings me to tomorrow morning. 0900 at Lowes, weather dependent obviously. There's a 60% chance of rain so when you get up in the morning, have a look outside and plan accordingly. I'll check and email you at 0800 for a Go/No Go. Keep everything crossed and I'll talk to you in the morning.
I tend to be the noisy one, Theresa and the Ride Leaders are the real story.
