Adele loves riding her bike. After getting her first bike, a burgundy Supercycle from the 70s, she has never stopped. That riding turned to racing with clubs in Edmonton, Saskatoon, and Regina, that went on for 30 years.( She started really young, like 4 I think..). She had an incredible journey racing on all levels bringing with her all kinds of race and life experience. She brings to Spoke n’Hot, her level 2 coaching in road and MTB. Along with having a truckload of kids and her professional life, she balances the joy of riding with family and work.
She also evangelizes to potential Spoke and Hot riders in her cycling classes at Goodlife. Her ultimate dream is to be a bike fitter for women athletes.
Adele believes that an athlete is a person who is trained in sports that require physical strength and skill; to ride against the Saskatchewan wind takes strength and it takes a lot of skill to ride safely in a pack while talking and having fun!
In Adele’s mind, we are all athletes that deserve a better version of ourselves.
