So what is Spoke n'Hot?
Based in Regina, Saskatchewan, Spoke n'Hot is a cycling group for women. Sponsored and supported by Dutch Cycle, the group is aimed at riders of all abilities.
Riding in small groups of ten or less, we ride every Monday evening and always have a support vehicle. We also ride on Saturday mornings, and organize special events for our riders. Coached by experienced cyclists, we have a strict no-drop policy, you will never ride alone.
We have different groups for all fitness and experience levels. You may be someone who has never ridden on the highway, you may have your daughters bike (or your mom's!), you might be a steely eyed roadie with a carbon bike and mirror shades,...we don't care either way. We have a group for you, we want you to come out, and we will teach you all you need to know. You will have a good time with great friends, we promise!
We start our Outdoor season on April 11th 2016 at Dutch Cycle. Come out and meet the riders, Ride Leaders, our great sponsor Freddy Vandelinden and his incredible staff. We then have two tech nights on the 18th and 25th of April where we teach you how to look after your bike and fix a flat tire In May we are outside and riding until the end of August.
REGISTRATION FOR THE 2016 SEASON IS NOW OPEN!!
The registration fee is $195 for new members, (this includes the mandatory team jersey) or $165 for returning club members who already have a jersey.
Over the last four years we have had a ton of fun, learned lots, drank wine and laughed quite a bit. Some of our riders have discovered that they are a lot faster than they thought. But the most important thing we have learned is that being on two wheels is an incredible way to make friends, get fit and look fabulous doing it!
What's the latest news? When are we riding? Where are we going?
A bit of history..
